Was working an hour south of Sacramento, but drove up to Stones to Play in their Tuesday Night $75 tourney. Right off the highway, with plenty of parking.
Stones Gambling Hall. Facebook; Twitter; 5 4 3 2 1. 6508/6510 Antelope Road, Citrus Heights, CA 95621 (Directions). Stones Poker Room is in one word. The poker room is completely closed off from other games which is a big advantage over local casino based poker rooms. You really can focus on the game here without a lot of external smoke and noise. The daily and evening tournaments have great structures for only $55 buy-in and a possible re-entry by the end of the 4th level.
Spacious room with 17 tables. The tourney had a good structure and drew 119 runners on this evening.
Comfortable chairs, friendly staff and well lit.
Plenty of wait staff around for drinks and food.
I ate out in the restaurant, Sammy's, after having my Kings cracked when I was all in. I had a pizza which was very good.
The nicest room that I have been to in NorCal.
